CropProtect 25EC

CropProtect® 25EC is the latest addition to the family of Grain Hygiene products.

This concentrated product is capable of treating one tonne of grain with just 10ml (diluted in one litre of water) and providing you with long-lasting protection for up to a year.

CropProtect is designed to be applied to the interior of grain storage facilities to eliminate any pests remaining from previous issues or applied directly to the grain post-harvesting to ensure long-lasting defence against infestation.

Thanks to its synergised formulation of deltamethrin and piperonyl butoxide, CropProtect can eliminate and deter common grain pests such as grain weevils, saw-toothed grain beetles, flour beetles and grain borers. Additionally, flying pests such as warehouse and grain moths are effectively controlled.

Emulsion concentrate for professional use in grain storage areas, as well as admixture with grain, for the treatment and deterrence of common crawling and flying pest insects. CropProtect® 25EC provides effective treatment of common grain 
store pests both crawling and flying (e.g. flour beetles, grain borers, saw-toothed grain beetles, grain weevils, warehouse moths, rice moths and Indian meal moths).

CropProtect 25EC® is a deltamethrin (25g/L) and piperonyl butoxide (225g/L) 
formulation provided as a concentrated emulsion to be diluted and applied to grain and grain storage facilities in accordance with the label. CropProtect® 25EC provides long lasting protection from infestation with one treatment. The maximum treatment frequency on the label should not be exceeded and the product should be sufficiently diluted before use. CropProtect® 25EC is for professional use only in and around grain storage areas, as an admixture to grain itself and in harvest equipment such as combine harvesters.

 DIRECTIONS FOR USE
 CropProtect 25EC is diluted with water and applied by low pressure nozzles placed over grain conveyor, as close to the final storage area as possible. In order to treat 100 tonnes of grain dilute one litre of CropProtect® 25EC in 99 litres of clean 
water. This method provides protection for a period of 12 months against crawling insects listed on product label and 3 months against flying insects listed on product label. CropProtect 25EC can be applied immediately before the storage area is required for use, however increased protection is grained by applying three to four weeks before the area is used and after the area has been thoroughly cleaned (20-30ml or 40-60ml concentrate in five litres of water dependent on surface type – see label).

 PRECAUTIONS
 Flammable liquid and vapour, no smoking or naked flames. Harmful if swallowed, may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways, causes serious eye damage, always wash hands after handling. Harmful if inhaled, may cause respiratory irritation, may cause drowsiness or dizziness, always use appropriate PPE when handling (see label). Very toxic to aquatic 
life with long lasting effects, dispose of in accordance with local hazardous waste disposal regulations and procedures and pack instructions (see label).
